Christmas has come early this year at North Ryde RSL Club in the form of a $626,000 Keno win picked up by a local club regular on Monday 21st December 2009.

The mysterious winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, now has plenty of reasons to celebrate the festive season after his combination ticket came up trumps for him on a 9-spot game at the popular North Sydney gaming venue.

While Santa has yet to visit, the excitement at North Ryde RSL over the win may well rival the coming of the jolly red man this year.

Club General Manager Chris Jones said he was absolutely thrilled a club regular had won the cash, saying it was the best Christmas present anyone could ask for.

“We love it when our regulars have a win but for one of our club members to win this much money so close to Christmas is a real thrill, even for our staff,” Chris said.

“I wish the winner and his family a very special holiday season. There’s sure to be plenty of merriment in their home this year,” he said.

“There’s also going to be plenty of ways to celebrate Christmas at the club during the holidays too, so I welcome everyone to come i and enjoy a meal with friends and family.”

Keno NSW Sales Manager Michael Fisher said the club had witnessed some of Keno’s biggest wins over the past few years, with the latest win proving it was a great place to play.
